Happy Little Rumble of Idiot Demons

In the store recently, I saw a couple of teenage girls making their mother listen to Green Day's "Dookie" album on our listening stations. Now, given that this album is nearly as old as these children, I was amused by the completely horrified look on the mother's face. It was priceless. It said, "What in the hell are they making me listen to." Now, I think she hammed it up, but it was still something to see. I even called a couple of my fellow associates over to take a look at this one.

They were pleasantly amused too. It honestly says something when a nearly fifteen year old album still elicits such a reaction from parents.

That was the impetus for this mix. Okay, maybe it's not one to gross out your parents with songs about wanking, but it's just one to celebrate a little Green Day. . .

But you might want to hide this one between the Led Zeppelin and Doors CDs so your parents won't wonder.
