Mercy for the Sun
Here is South Florida, we've been having absolutely beautiful weather: no humidity, a perpetual breeze. It hasn't even been all that hot. Why, I don't know. Sadly, I haven't had the time to sit and watch a weather report in a week or so, but I'm not complianing. A year ago, we were watching a nasty hurricane rip up Mexico, waiting for it to swing up our way and tear us a new one. That didn't quite happen, but it did disrupt life a bit down here. . .
This new mix was intended to be a jazz mix, but somehow I had a few other ideas as I made it. Something about it begged for a little Soul and a few other things too. It could cool down a hot afternoon, or warm up a slow, cool night. Hope you all enjoy.

5. Ahmad Jamal - Children of the Night
6. Nouvelle Vague - Bela Lugosi's Dead

9. Kenna - Vexed and Glorious
10. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan - Jhoole jhoole laal

12. Art Of Noise - Dragnet '88

Keep 'em coming, you guys. And of course, rock on. :)
