This is probably quite sad. . .

But I'm here to talk about my phone.

It's been overly hectic down here with the opening throws of the holiday season and I've been quite caught up in the demands of my little job. I'm also waiting for a new harrdrive to arrive via Ebay so I can properly make more podcasts. I've very nearly run out of space, and Audacity needs some real space to make these little things.

The same goes for the recordings, so we'll be properly up and running once I've got that installed and the bulk of my music transfered over.

For now, however, I decided to talk about my new phone. I'm proud to say, I made my very first ringtone from a snippet of Pink Floyd's "Echoes" that I am including as a quickie download for this week.

I'm fascinated by this little device and it's all in one nature, so I am hoping that in time, I can use it to enhance some of the content of this site by documenting some of the goings on I encounter.

And by the lovely, Dellessanna my wallpaper. This was supposed to be used as art for the site, but I'm still working that out. I'm mostly inept at working with html and blogger.

Just Browsing...

So, I was browsing Deviantart and came across an artist that does band art...namely for "The Cities Finest"
The City's Finest CD Art by ~NickAteen on deviantART

I rather like them. :) But I am addicted to melodramatic music. So there you go.

Transformers. . . More than Meets the Eye

Gabcast! MadTerran Music #4

I recorded this yesterday before opening, for practically no apparent reason. We'll post it anyway.

Purging. . . Everything before April won't work.

I was running out of space for new podcasts in the Box, so I started cleaining out. Therefore, the links from before April aren't going to work. If you're interested from back then, just shoot off an email and we'll see what we can do. I do still have it all comfortably on my hard drive.

Voting

I just wanted to take a moment to urge all of my American readers to go out and vote. It's an important race with a lot of things for us to decide for both sides of the aisle.

Once upon a time, I used to vote listening to Rage Against the Machine (and when APC put out Emotive, I listened to that too at the ballot box.) So here's a little Rage for the afternoon. . .

The Dream Academy

Well, I missed a week. I'm not overly happy that I missed a week, but it was a long week in the retail world. I fear that they will be getting longer and longer as we get closer and closer to the big season of Christmas.

I also find that the podcasts I had all set up just aren't working for me these days, so they're going to be shelved for now in favour of some new stuff based on groups I'm excited about right now, and vinyl.

Still, I'm excited by my growing record collection. So for this week, I'm offering one of them for everyone to listen to. This is The Dream Academy's self titled, first album. They were psychedlia inspired New Wave from England that made music during the early 80's.

I'm hoping to do a few more of these, so tell me what you all think. I might toss up a couple more classic albums as the weeks go by.
